Let us support you as you help your child reach their full potential!

Parents as Teachers is a FREE, evidence-based national home visitation program that provides mothers, fathers and pregnant women with the education and support they need through the first five years of a child’s life. We believe that all families want what is best for their children. We know that each family has their own unique culture, traditions and values.

The Parents as Teachers program focuses on helping children learn, grow and develop to realize their full potential. Your Parent Educator provides activities to inspire interactive play, conducts developmental screenings and will connect you with available community resources.

The Parents as Teachers Program focuses on parent-child interaction, development-centered parenting and family well-being by providing support with:

  • School Readiness
  • Education Goals
  • Problem-Solving Skills
  • Stress Management
  • Crisis Management
  • Substance Abuse
  • Resources
  • Mental Health Issues

Parents as Teachers is a free in home visitation program for parents with a least one child under the age of 5. Parents are taught positive discipline, how to connect through play, parenting behaviors and more!
